If you have already clicked the Allow Precise Location > Allow in Settings button and the camera is enabled but it does not allow you to take photos, please try the following:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap on Privacy & Security.
  3. Look for Location Services at the top of the screen and ensure it says On.
  4. If it says "Off," tap it and toggle the switch for Location Services to On (green).

If you have an iOS device, and the Location Services at the top of the Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services screen is greyed out and not able to be toggled on or off, you may have an alternate setting affecting this.

  1. Go to the Settings app.
  2. Tap on Screen Time.
  3. Tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  4. Check to see if Content & Privacy Restrictions is turned on (green) at the top of the screen. If so, check below for Location Services. This must be set to "Allow" for you to alter your location services and enable precise location.
