Note: This information pertains to the Vision Web App only. Links for this web app begin with "web.truepicvision.com". If your link begins with "visionbytruepic.com" or you have been asked to use the Vision Camera app, this information will not be applicable.


If you click on a photo or video question in the Vision Web App and receive the error "Camera/microphone permission denied", this is likely because certain camera permissions are not set for the browser on your device. Please note that the only browsers supported when using the Vision Web App are Safari and Chrome. Please choose which browser you are using below in order to receive instructions related to how to fix this issue.

Safari - iOS (iPhone/iPad)

1. The error should display like in the screenshot below.

2. Refresh the webpage, and click the photo question again.

3. A popup should appear, asking for permissions. Click Allow.


3. The camera error should now be successfully resolved, and you can move forward with using the Vision Web App.

Chrome - iOS (iPhone/iPad)

1. The error should display like in the screenshot below.



2. Refresh the page, and click on the photo/video question again.

3. Chrome should prompt you to allow camera permissions. Click Allow.



4. The camera error should now be successfully resolved, and you can move forward with using the Vision Web App.

Chrome - Android

1. The error should display like in the screenshot below.


2. At the left of the address bar (where the web address is), there should be an icon that looks like toggle bars. Click this icon.



3. Select Permissions.




4. Toggle the Camera permission to on (green).


5. Go back to the website, and refresh the page. You will be prompted to allow the camera permissions.

6. The camera error should now be successfully resolved, and you can move forward with using the Vision Web App.


If it is not, please check your Site Settings. Here are instructions on doing so:

1. Go to the three dots at the top of Chrome:


2. Select Settings.


3. Select Site Settings.


4. Select Camera.



5. Check to see if there is an entry under "Blocked" for https://web.truepicvision.com. If there is, click on it and change it to Allow.



6. Go back to the Vision web app website, and reload the page. The camera permissions error should now be successfully resolved, and you can move forward with using the web app.
